Erika Erikson Chairs National Award-Winning Vapor Intrusion Project Team

Erika Erikson was honored at the 2009 American Industrial Hygiene Conference in Toronto as a member of one of three outstanding Project Teams. Ms. Erikson has been Co-Chair/Chair of the Vapor Intrusion Project Team, a sub-committee of the Environmental Issues Committee, since its inception three years ago. The Project Team was formed to track the evolution of vapor intrusion guidelines and regulations and provide practical information that can be utilized in the field by the industrial hygiene community. For the last two years the team has developed and delivered an 8 hour Professional Development Course and has organized a roundtable on Vapor Intrusion Developments the last three years. Future plans include an advanced course on Vapor Intrusion as well as a roundtable to be presented at the 2010 American Industrial Hygiene Conference in Denver.
